Workshop Training.
In order to instill a mindset based on principles of manufacturing for design and assembly, mechanical engineering students at the University of Canterbury undertake extensive workshop training.
This complimented my prior experience in a variety of workshop environments and was an excellent opportunity to expand my skill set.
A key part of the training is to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
